1. Provider and scope
These terms govern use of consent.video and purchases from Abdallah Kawji, Durlacher Straße 6, 10715 Berlin, Germany, email contact@abdallah.dev(“we”, “us”). Conflicting customer terms apply only if we expressly agree to them.
2. The service
consent.video lets customers upload a video, create a private review link, invite reviewers, collect timestamped feedback, and retain named approval or consent records. The platform is a workflow and evidence-recording tool; it is not a law firm and does not guarantee that a recorded approval satisfies the legal requirements of every production, territory, medium, or intended use.
3. Accounts and access
- Account holders sign in with Google and must provide accurate account information.
- Users must protect project passwords and private review links from unauthorized access.
- Users may not share access in a way that circumvents payment or security controls.
- You must be at least 18 years old or otherwise legally able to enter into the contract.
4. Contract formation
Product descriptions on the website are invitations to place an order. A binding contract is formed when you submit a clearly labelled paid order through checkout and we confirm the order electronically. Before submitting the order, you can review and correct the order information. The contract language is English.
5. Price and payment
The total price is €33 per video, including applicable VAT and all mandatory price components. There is no subscription and no delivery or shipping charge. The accepted payment methods are shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Stripe and are due when the order is placed.
6. Performance
Access to the upload and review workflow is made available after successful payment and sign-in. Processing time depends on the video’s size, format, internet connection, and third-party video infrastructure. We will provide the service without undue delay. A customer who is a consumer may ask us to begin performance during the statutory withdrawal period at checkout.
7. Customer content and permissions
You represent and warrant that:
- you have the rights needed to upload, process, display, and share the video;
- you may provide the reviewer contact details entered into the platform;
- the content does not infringe privacy, copyright, personality, or other third-party rights;
- you will inform participants and reviewers about processing where required; and
- you will define the intended use and obtain any release or consent required for publication.
You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, transcode, display, and transmit it solely as necessary to provide and secure the service.
8. Prohibited use
You may not use the service for unlawful content, malware, abuse, harassment, deception, non-consensual intimate material, content exploiting minors, infringement of third-party rights, attempts to bypass security, or activity that damages the platform or other users. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent harm or comply with law.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the platform available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, security incidents, internet failures, or failures of processors may cause interruptions. We may make reasonable technical changes that preserve the service’s essential function.
10. Defects and support
Statutory rights concerning defective services and digital products apply without restriction. Report problems to contact@abdallah.dev, including the project, approximate time, and a description of the issue. We will first attempt to restore or reperform the affected service where appropriate.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, fraudulently concealed defects, guarantees, and liability under mandatory law. For ordinary negligence involving a material contractual duty, liability is limited to the foreseeable loss typical for this contract. Otherwise, liability for ordinary negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. These limits also apply to our agents and representatives.
12. Withdrawal and refunds
Consumers generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The conditions, effects, model form, and voluntary technical-failure refund policy are set out on our Refunds & withdrawal page. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
13. Duration and deletion
A per-video purchase is not a subscription. You may delete a project from the platform. Deletion ends access to its links and records and cannot be undone. We may retain data where required by law or necessary for legal claims, as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law and disputes
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice does not remove mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence. If the customer is a merchant, legal entity under public law, or special fund under public law, Berlin is the exclusive place of jurisdiction.
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
15. Final provisions
If an individual provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Statutory law replaces the invalid provision. We may update these terms for future orders; the version accepted at the time of an order governs that order.
